Icom showcases new range at Seawork

Thankyou for reading my site, here is a piece of writing i really loved reading. With their agreement i’m able to repost it. I write tons of my own posts, but occasionally repost other content i find fascinating, thanks for reading.
On show at Seawork from Icom (B15) will be a new range of radio solutions for the commercial maritime market.
New products include the IC-M506 VHF with integrated AIS Receiver and an HM-195CMI Dual Commandmic interface that provides an additional Commandmic station for two of its fixed radios. Also on show will be Icom’s revolutionary IP Advanced Radio System that provides hands-free duplex two way radio communication over an existing or new IP/WLAN network.
Ian Lockyer, Marketing Manager of Icom UK Ltd said.” We have some really innovative new products this year that will assist operational efficiency and improved safety and security. Visit stand B15 to see a demonstration.”

Walkie Talkie Headset

So i found this article on the web and i heard that just posting it as the whole piece is not the right thing, I got permission from the original writer and read up ways to curate posts, so that is it…….i thought this was interesting because it highlights some of the highs and lows that I encountered when i was working inside the industry.

two way radio gold coast2 Way Radios are unique in that the half-duplex channel they operate on will only allow one radio to transmit at any time, though there are no limits to the amount that can listen. Rather than have an earpiece similar to a telephone, they have a built in speaker so the unit does not have to be held to the ear. They are used to connect to both other handheld units and to radio stations which are in a fixed location. The typical shape is of a large telephone handset, with a fixed antenna poking out of the top of the unit.

There are walkie talkie headsets that come in pairs. Sometimes, these are the models that children want because they would like to play with their friends. This is a bargain for you because you get two headsets for just a price of one. Check also for the sizes of these double headsets. Gauge whether these can be word by children who will eventually play with these. If it means spending the extra dollar for a perfect fit, do so. Walkie talkie headset is such a cool toy to have and your child will have a blast just playing with it.

Some 2-way radios will go as little as a few hundred feet, which will only cost about ten dollars or so, while others will have long distant ranges, some of up to 10 to 15 miles or so. These may cost a little more, but will be worth it for the clarity and great reception they provide. It is all dependent on each individuals needs. Kids to not need long distance range the majority of the time, but big businesses will.

If you have any sort of inquiries regarding where and just how to make use of two way radio, you could call us at our own web site.

Effective Communication With Long Range Walkie Talkies

This article is posted with the strict agreement of 2 way radio usa.co.uk, that is the original blog. please get permission from that website before reposting this piece.

walkie talkie kopenTwo way radios are used for communication purposes. They let a user send as well as receive signals over different channels. These radios find use in variety of applications. These radios use radio waves for communication and these radio waves have different frequencies. Therefore, two way radios operate on different frequencies. These frequencies may differ from one place to another. Also the transmission rate depends upon the frequency that the radio uses. When low frequencies are used, data transmission can take place over a short distance. In case a high frequency is used, data transmission takes place over a larger distance.

Long range Walkie Talkies are a variant of the two way communication radios. These radios are called long range because they operate on a high frequency. These radios are also called HF radios. They use frequencies in short wave bands which range between 3 MHz and 30 MHz, where MHz stands for mega hertz. Hertz is the unit in which frequency is measured. These radios can transmit signals over very long distances. The long range radios can also operate on Very High Frequencies (VHF) and Ultra High Frequencies (UHF). These long range radios can work over a very large distance and can transmit signals very clearly.

The radios can be used for various purposes. They are generally used for communication in airplanes and ships at sea. These radios are very popular in military organizations where they are used for two way communication. These two way radios can even be used in remote locations where cell phones cannot be used because the required infrastructure and frequency is not available.

The radios can even be used for transmitting voice signals very clearly over long distances. For this purpose, these radios are equipped with single side bands. These radios can even transmit digital data from one computer to another. This is the main reason of these radios becoming very popular in the computer industry.

For 2 way radios, very high frequency (VHF) signals are considered better because they have better penetrating powers and can be easily used in any type of terrain. Also very high frequency signals can travel longer distances as compared to ultra high frequencies. These log range Motorola two way radios can be conveniently used in indoor as well as outdoor applications.

One problem with HF radios is that for the transmission of data over long distances, these radios need very big antennae. This makes it difficult to handle these radios conveniently. When these radios have to be used in vehicles, the big antennae pose a big problem as they cannot fit into the vehicles easily. It is for this reason that long range radios are not considered fit for use in vehicles.

The two way radios operate in a straight line of sight and therefore are not very effective where the terrain is not plain. However, in spite of their few drawbacks, the two way radios have become very popular and are widely used for many applications across the world.
